How much will I pay if I need to replace my Ford Explorer windshield?
With your Ford Explorer, you are out living life to its fullest. However, this can sometimes mean rough roads and wear and tear. Cracks or chips on your Ford Explorer windshield can mean unplanned replacements. We can help make that easier for you!
Most of our customers use their vehicle's insurance policy, which allows them to get a high quality repair or complete replacement if needed AND pay little or nothing out of pocket.
Going through your Explorer's auto insurance policy means you'll generally pay $0 out of pocket (or close to $0 - the exact amount depends on your deductible).
Every one of our insurance customers also receives their choice of any of our special offers.
Of course, you can look forward to more than just low costs with us. We are always running at least 1 or 2 special offers for insurance customers, which are generally either free cash back or free promos at Valley businesses we like. Not only that, but we also offer lifelong free chip repair for insurance customers.

Ford Explorer - One of the Most Influential SUVs of All Time
A sales success right out of the gate, the Explorer has evolved to keep up with the times and is now a top competitor in the popular crossover SUV market.
Although the Ford Explorer was not the original SUV, it was certainly the one to make people sit up and take notice. The model was first launched in 1991, replacing the Bronco II. It was almost instantly popular, selling more than 300,000 units per year during its first generation.
The first generation Ford Explorer offered families and young adventurers a rugged vehicle which could handle a variety of situations, while still providing more space and greater amenities than most previously available options.
A strong factor in the Explorer's initial success was its wide variety of configurations and options to fit many different kinds of uses and buyers.
Most appealingly, the Ford Explorer offered consumers considerable flexibility. The first generation was available in both two- and four-door options. It could be purchased as either two- or four-wheel drive. Within each of these were several other configuration options. On the higher end, consumers could opt for the Eddie Bauer model for the most luxurious SUV design of the time.
The Explorer hit the impressive milestone of 3 million vehicles sold in only its second generation.
By 1995, the Ford Explorer was ready for a new generation. The second generation model included added safety features and a few unique design features, such as a center high-mount neon brake light. The model's popularity continued and, in 1998, the Ford Explorer surpassed the impressive benchmark of three million in sales.
The end of the 2 door configuration
The third generation of the Ford Explorer was produced from 2002 until 2005. This generation featured an entirely reworked model, retaining only the 4.0-liter V6 engine from the previous design. It was also during this generation that the Explorer added an optional third-row bench. However, it was also during this generation that the two-door configuration options were discontinued.
In its later generations, the Explorer has evolved into a crossover SUV, today's most popular market segment for sport utility vehicles.
Changes were made in 2006 for the fourth generation and in 2011 the company introduced the fifth generation, which is still produced today. In the most recent design, the Ford Explorer was transitioned from a classical SUV to a crossover design.
Despite all the changes and new features over the years, the Explorer is still true to its namesake and remains one of the best choices for getting out and going exploring!
The current Ford Explorer features more space than ever with an additional four inches in length and five further inches of width. With added safety features and an entire array of in-cabin technology, the current Ford Explorer is still a family favorite for exploring all that the world has to offer!
