Paying with Insurance

Generally $0, Plus a Deductible if Your Policy Has One (Most Do Not)

💡Using your car insurance policy to pay for your Honda Accord windshield service is extremely common. In fact, most customers who use their insurance to fix a chip, repair a crack or even replace the windshield in its entirety pay nothing at all out of their own pockets!

$0 Out of Pocket AND Special Offers? Yep!

This will depend upon the details of your auto insurance policy, as well as on the year and model of your Honda Accord. If your insurance covers glass, you will also be eligible for one of the many special offers we run each year. Paying out of Pocket

Our prices are generally some of the lowest anywhere in the Valley.

Some customers prefer to pay for their Honda Accord Sedan Windshield replacement or repair out of their own pockets. Generally this is either because their insurance doesn't have glass coverage or they'd like to get their glass fixed without going through the claims process.

The total price you pay for a repair or replacement on a chipped Honda Accord Sedan Windshield will depend on several factors, including the specific model, the year, and the extent of the damage done.

For a basic idea of out-of-pocket costs, see the table below.

Evolution of the Honda Accord

A true Japanese-American icon, the Accord was the first car from Japan to be produced in the United states.

The Honda Accord is among the most recognizable of all the vehicles in the extensive Honda stable. In fact, the Accord is something of a pioneer; way back in 1982 it was the first vehicle from Japan to be produced in the USA.

The Accord's connection with American manufacturing began at Marysville, Ohio, when production began on those first few American Accords. More than three and a half decades and seven more iterations later, both the Accord and the Ohio plant are still going strong. In fact, make that eight; in July of 2017, Honda announced another generation of the Honda Accord, which is due to begin production in 2018.

Once production moved to the United States in the early 1980s, sales exploded.

It was following the beginning of production in the USA that sales of the Accord in this country really began to gather pace. In its first year of release (1976) the imported Accord model managed only 18.5k sales in its first year; in 1983, only 12 months after the production line roared into life at Marysville, annual sales were in excess of 200,000.

Strong sales continued and peaked in the early 2000s, but have held steady since.

Fast forward 17 years to the birth of the new millenium, and even this fine figure appears small fry. In the first few years of 2000s, sales regularly topped 400,000 per annum. This has dipped and stabilized a little since then, but sales in excess of 350k are still the norm for the Accord each year.

New hybrid power trains ensure the Accord's popularity and ubiquity will continue well into the 21st century.

Honda has shown that they are serious about the future of the Accord. With the ninth generation, released in 2013, Honda launched the first hybrid and hybrid plug-in option in the Accord range, demonstrating a commitment to sustainable driving. It appears that the Honda Accord is going to be a fixture on our roads and in our hearts for many more years to come.
